Disappointing

The elevators did not work. I was on the third floor and had to go up and down 45 stairs five times a day. The breakfast was really good!P

The hotel is old and rundown and filthy dirty. The walkways are poorly lit the lightbulbs are burnt out and the tile floors are disgustingly dirty and have not been cleaned in God knows how long.

Very Good

The Room, Suite, 55 sqm, enormous space for a single traveller, or couples. Nice balcony with great view of pools. And I mean pools, because there are several, some directly from rooms, with poolchannels Connecting to other bigger pool. The big pleasure here was really the room, size and balcony, and access to all Pools. The whole place is huge, and built like a Thai temple, only that is a reason to try it. Big bathroom with nice shower, and pressure. Good and helpful staff, even though check in took more than one hour. Overall a special and great experience to a very affordable price. Observe though, this was Suite room E11, and if you choose this hotel, make sure to book a suite. Double room standard has less good recommendations, and more complaints. Good location and walking distance to Nopharathara beach.

Well, it is a worn down hotel wich has seen better days. But, you can still have a great experience here if you book Suite room, wich has access to a lot better and nicer poolarea. Okay, minus, the place is big, and a lot of walking to and from pools and reception. In the nighttime the place feels a bit over given, crew finnish work at 8 pm, after that you can feel a bit lonely in the big hallways. And, a stupid system for the lights in the room was a bit frustration to handle.

The place was a bit dated but fine . Rooms were huge and clean . Read a lot of negatives about the place before we arrived and was a bit nervous to what we would find , but it was fine and could not understand the comments made . It’s not plush, but a bargin at the price paid

Nice hotel but keep your things locked away

Unfortunately we only had our towels changed once within our 4 nights of staying in the hotel. Also I’ve noticed since unpacking that a pair of jeans & a top had been taken out of my suitcase which I’m very disappointed about.

Not much...

Room was almost a 4 minute walk from reception. Pool old, beds and pillows too hard to sleep on. Staff not helpful at all...no AC in reception. Very disappointing at the most expensive hotel I've stayed in during my visit..a rip off

Peaceful stay that exceeded our expectations

Huge room and a balcony with a pool view. The property is stunning. The pool area was great with big deep (1,50m) pool depth. Very peaceful stay as it seemes like the hotel wasn't fully booked. The hotel is located in a peaceful area but still within a walkable distance from Ao Nang main road. The staff were extremely helpful and responded quickly to any requests we had during our stay.

Nothing major to complain about, everything was great. What could be mentioned is that the bed is rather uncomfortable. The mattress was very hard and we could feel the wires poking through. The place is under some renovation and is obviously a little rundown. We had some issues with our bathroom bidet shower leaking but this was fixed very quickly by the staff. You shouldn't come here expecting some luxurious 5-star hotel experience. Instead you'll have a unique and pieceful stay.

I feel for the owner's who have a grand hotel but hardly any guests. They have to invest in the property in respect to a complete makeover and ongoing maintenance.

Pool great and always got sunbeds location perfect for night market and local bars and restaurants

Staff spoke no English except 1 gentleman. Asked for sofa bed in lounge and they knew nothing but gave us sheets pillow and my son slept on sofa cushions .

The location was very good just 5 minute walk from a huge night market

The room was excellent very big comfortable and clean

The corridors needed a good clean a lot of the outside area needed attention and they badly needed bell boys the front of house staff weren’t always as helpful and you would expect

The 'manager' William said that the manager lived in Bangkok so wouldn't help with our questions. The staff obviously saw him as their boss. He was rude and very very unhelpful. And blamed the staff for things in his control.

Value for money but don’t expect 5* facilities and experience when you aren’t paying for it

This is a beautiful property. Huge rooms. Large pool area. Our room had a separate living area and patio leading directly down to the pool. Perfect location close to the gorgeous long sandy beach of Ao Nang Much cheaper than a typical hotel of this type so you can’t expect a true 5* experience. Our room looked recently decorated and lovely (although on closer inspection a few bits had missed the paint brush)

We agree with the general reviews about this hotel and went in not expecting much. You get what you pay for and in many ways the hotel was good. Only real sticking point for us was the room temperature. We knew the air con only went to 25C and had practiced at a previous hotel and found it fine. However I think other air cons overshoot the temperature and this one definitely doesn’t. Shame facilities such as the bar in the pool are not in operation. Our bathroom was not fully cleaned when we went in.

Glad we experienced a traditional beautiful building

We loved the traditional feel . It’s so traditional and just needs a lot of TLC to bring it back to whoever invitioned such a wonderful establishment. I hope the new owners do this. We enjoy our stay

It's a beautiful and comfortable place to stay! Has a lot of potential to increase

The room was very comfortable, big and beautiful, we had a nice view as well. The people are very nice and helpful there, and have a good breakfast.

I think the pool and out area wasn't nice to stay at... I think there needs more maintenance. The WiFi wouldn't work nice at our room also.
